Updates
Welcome to the LIVINGSTON PAGE! This is where it all started. God is working in these prayer walks and moving it across this state and nation. As a student I have witnessed fewer fights and more students caring about their school work! You see God is hearing every word that is prayed from a humble Child's Heart!!
********Praise God for the 18 people that showed up on the August 17th. We have been praying that God will open doors for Revive to grow and get the word out to the Livingston community that revive is a real thing! God did open those doors and he really proved (not the first time btw) that prayer does work! Keep praying Livingston revive prayer warriors that God will continue to bless us as well as the rest of the schools.
I felt that for some reason God wanted me to place this passage on our page. But this is for anyone who may be having a hard time in making a life-altering desicion of accepting Christ or the a Christian having a hard time and doubting their faith or even food for thought.---
As it says in Mark 8:34 "Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." This verse really speaks out to me personally. It is stating that if you want to find Christ and you want him to be your closest friend; forget about yourself, as in dont look for rewards or attention or any form of reward and just follow him. Being a Christian is not always easy here on Earth but it states in Matthew 5:3 "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Christians are persecuted everyday for their belifs but do I let that stop me? Does that stop any prayer warrior listed on this site? NO! God is constantly looking out for us. So in the long run we have nothing to fear.
*********We are wanting to have a Revive kick off soon possibly in March. Pray that we will be able to get things lined up and that God will work through this. More info will be posted soon.
We have started a program called Revive Prayer Guardians. If you would like to participate in this new prayer ministry where you will be responsible for praying for a specific teacher or student please contact Marjorie Yandell.
***There are students in our county who want more adults and youth to be involved in our walks each month. They have asked I put out the word they would like to come to your church and talk about the prayer walks. If you are interested contact me.
***If you would like your church to our video which encourages them to come to the walk please pick one up at the next prayer walk or call 1.267.350.9040.
The one thing I have heard more than anything at these prayer walks is how impressed the students are to see adults taking the time to come pray. Let's not let these students down. It is important, it is needed, and God has called us to the battlefield. Please don't give up on this generation. I believe God is really moving on the drug/alcohol issue, that is a major battle as you know. It's a battle God can win if we are faithful to His Call!
We ask you to stay involved and continue to come to our school and pray.
