Please pray for me this Wednesday night, May 19th. as I present information on the Revive Prayer Walks to the Northside Baptist Church in Cocoa, Florida, I know how much these prayers walks have effected our schools in Georgia where I live and would love to see them started here in Brevard County, FL. I have grandchildren and soon, great-grandchildren who attend school here and know what a difference it will make in their lives to have prayers cover their schools. Thank you and God Bless each of you who participate in this movement. Jan Nicholson

We have been invited to share our experiences over the past year of doing the Revive Prayer Walks at Randolph-Clay with a group at the Arlington Baptist Church in Arlington, GA. They are interested is getting this movement of prayer started in their local schools and we ask for prayer that we will be able to present this to them in a way that will inspire and encourage them to move forward immediately with getting started. From Oconee County High School - This is one of our seniors who should be graduating Saturday, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. From: To: Subject: Logan Brantley Date: Tue, 19 May 2009 16:10:52 -0400 Below is an email from John Brantley that he wanted to share with all of you regarding his son, Logan's condition. The update on Logan is as follows, on Thursday of last week we went to the doctor for a strong antibiotic for what we were told was probably pneumonia. After CT Scans, Biopsy and other test it was determined to be Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, a very aggressive fast growing cancer. By the end of the day our world had received a hard blow. On Friday the news was worse. The size of the tumor and growth was such that immediate treatment was needed to reduce the tumor so Logan could breath. From Thursday to Friday the lymphnoids in his neck grew to a level he could no longer talk. At the end of the afternoon he received some steroid treatment to help reduce the tumor and continued that treatment Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday evening, after his tennis banquet, he was admitted into the hospital and on Monday morning they started chemo treatments in addition to the steroid treatment. I wanted to extend to all of my bulldog family a tremendous thank you for all the prayers and support and I have a continued prayer request as well. My son's name is James Logan Brantley and I will use a scripture from the book of James 2:17 "faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." My request is this, for those who that have "Faith in prayer and in God our Heavenly Father," I call upon each of you for "Action" to help me spread the news of my son all around the world to the prayer warriors and to those who pray so that God's children can unite as one to display the strength of Sampson, the courage of David, the discernment of Solomon, and patience of Job that will be needed to fight and overcome this battle. By doing this for my son, we will glorify "HIS SON." May God Bless each and everyone and thank you for your support John P. Brantley

Updates

Welcome to the Randolph-Clay High School and Middle School Page!
Please join in and contact me to post your pictures or information that will be of interest to the community regarding the school.

Below is the information on all the Revive Prayer Walks that have taken place since we started on April 19, 2009. There have been many changes taking place in our school and we give God all the glory for each and every one of them. The dates on the prayer walks for 2010 are listed on our schedule.

Please join us on our next prayer walk and "Let's see what God does next"!

July 18, 2010
On Sunday afternoon, July 18, 2010, a dedicated group gathered inside the Randolph-Clay High School for our regularly scheduled Revive Prayer Walk. We were blessed to have 10 dedicated Christians come out and join us on this "middle of summer" walk. With so many away on vacation and several of our regulars out with illness we were pleased with the turn-out. We are also glad that some of our regular attendees are supporting the new prayerwalk at the Clay County Elememtary-Middle School. There is power in numbers no matter where they are praying and we encourage everyone to go to the closest school and join us!

We are also VERY pleased to announce that Ms. Cathy Reynolds has volunteered to co-ordinated and is working to get approval to begin the Prayer Walks in the Early County School. Please PRAY for the success of this new county opening it's doors to this movement.

June 20, 2010
The monthly gathering for the Revive Prayer Walk was held on Sunday June 20th and we had 12 faithful walkers come to pray. Since this walk took place on Father’s Day we prayed special prayers for the Fathers of the students. We believe God is working in Randolph-Clay and will continue to meet through the summer to pray for the students, their families and the staff.

May 16, 2010
I was in Florida for the graduation of my Granddaughter on the weekend of the May prayer walk but we had 14 people come to Randolph-Clay High/Middle School to continue on in my absence. It was the first time that we were sending people to two different schools to pray. We were just granted permission to get into the Clay County Elementary/Middle School and they were excited to share this event with people from that community. The Principal of the school came out to join them and open the doors of the school for this first prayer walk.

Another exciting thing that I did while in Florida was to go and speak at the Northwest Baptist Church in Cocoa, FL about the Revive Prayer Walks. They are very excited about getting this important event started in schools in the Brevard County area. I hope to see them adding a name to the Schools list in Florida very soon!

April 30th.
The youth from our church attended a Rally on Friday night and there were over 100 youth and adults in attendance. I was able to show the Revive Prayer Walk video and play the song and video plus give a brief talk on the Revive Prayer Walks at this event. It was well received and we are praying that even more young people will come out and not only join us but spread this movement to other schools.

April 18, 2010

We were blessed to have four new people come to join us this month as we walked the halls praying for the students and their families, teachers and administrators of the school. August 16, 2009
On August 3 Randolph-Clay High School started classes back up for the 2009-2010 school year. We gathered through the summer break to pray for this new school year and are anticipating great things to happen for the students this year. We had a great turn-out today for our regularly scheduled prayerwalk with several new faces and a renewed excitment for things to come. We anticipate that participant numbers will grow as the school year progresses and people see the changes that can happen when God's people pray! Come and join us for the next scheduled prayerwalk alway on the 3rd. Sunday from 2:30-3:30 at the school.

July 19, 2009
Thank you to each and every person who attended the prayer walk on July 19th. The faithfulness shown during the summer months will reap benefits as we continue on though the school year walking the halls and praying for the students and their families, the administrators, teachers and staff of Randolph-Clay.
How can we measure success? It's not in how many times we meet or the number of people that come out for these prayerwalks. Our success is in the answered prayers that we see happening. There is a dedication in the group that attends that keeps them coming back every month. They know that God will answer prayers. We hope that many more will join us on August 16th. from 2:30 - 3:30 at the school.
Thank you,
Jan

June 21, 2009
Our group was smaller this time but very dedicated to our mission. We came out to walk the halls and pray and that's just what we did. There were 12 of us who braved the heat of southwest Georgia and it was well worth it. Thanks to each and every one of you who has dedicated the third Sunday from 2:30-3:30 of each month to join in. Thanks also to Principal Byrd for having the doors to the school opened up for us early and allowing us to continue our prayerwalks through the summer. It won't be long until school is back in session on August 3rd. We are trying to figure out ways to involve the students and get the word out to them on what we are doing. We are praying that we can have more partipation of the student body when they find out more about what we are doing.. The best way to know the needs of the school is to have our students involved.
Please let us know if you have any ideas that will help us get them involved more.

May 17, 2009
A gathering of 28 people from 6 different churches in our area came together to walk the halls of Randolph-Clay High school today. It poured rain but it didn't dampen our enthusiasm. We had students, teachers, school board members and lots of dedicated folks joining together for a common cause.
The next prayerwalk will be held on June 21, which is Father's Day. What better way to show our young people support and guidance than to come out as a family and pray for our future generation.
Look forward to seeing you then.

April 2009
I just returned home from our first "official" prayer walk held at Randolph-Clay High School. We had a great turn-out with 34 people coming to go inside the school and walk the halls praying. There are too many people to thank for making this possible but God knows who you are. Thanks for spreading the word and keep up the good work! We had promises that more people would come next month as the word spreads and lives are touched. I know that lives will change because of the prayers that were sent up today...mine was.
Keep checking back on this web-site for more information and comments on todays walk.
May God bless you all,
Jan
